Common questions

How does FixFlow work?

You pick what's broken (a vehicle, appliance, home fixture, etc.), enter some context, and FixFlow asks focused questions to narrow the diagnosis. When it has enough information, it returns a suggested fix with tools, parts, step-by-step instructions, and a video walkthrough.

FixFlow's guidance is produced by AI and can be wrong. Always verify before you undertake a repair, and consult a licensed professional when unsure.

What does FixFlow Pro include?

The Pro subscription unlocks unlimited diagnoses per month, PDF export of your solutions (with a branded printable format), and photo attachment during diagnosis (letting the AI "see" the problem).

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your device: Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → FixFlow → Cancel Subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I clear my data?

In the app: Settings → Data → Clear local data. This removes your bookmarks, history, and ratings from your device.

We don't store user accounts on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what we do collect (short answer: very little).

The app crashed / gave me a wrong answer. What should I do?

Please use the in-app "Send feedback" option (Settings → Send feedback). It pre-fills useful context (app version, category, last action) so we can reproduce the problem.

For accuracy complaints specifically: including the vehicle/appliance details and the specific question that got the wrong answer helps us track down the issue in our server logs.

Is FixFlow professional advice?

No. FixFlow is an AI-powered educational and troubleshooting tool. It is not a licensed mechanic, electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, contractor, or engineer. Repair work carries real risks. When in doubt, hire a licensed pro. See our Terms of Service for the full picture.

What if I get hurt or my property gets damaged?

You use FixFlow at your own risk. Our Terms of Service cover the limits of our liability in detail. If you're not comfortable taking on the risk of a repair, please call a professional.

How do I request a feature?

Send it to support@fixflowdiy.com or use the in-app feedback option. We read everything.
